On the 30^th anniversary of the Oslo Accord 1

30 years ago, Israel and the Palestinian PLO signed the first Oslo Accord after secret negotiations in Oslo. the accord agreed to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict within 5 years. This agreement was initially a historic breakthrough, what preceded it?

Thanks to the excellent relationship with the late General Amnon Lipkin-Shahak, The Owls was able to sketch the background of this tumultuous historical #breakthrough. In chapter 10 of the book Breakthrough vol 1 we let key players speak who were involved in the conception of the Oslo Accords, including the late President Shimon Peres, the former Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority Ahmed Qurei, alias Abu Ala’a, and the negotiators Uri Savir, Yossi Beilin and Ron Pundak.
